THE BOARD & SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Clearly we are different from the mining industry norm. Tim, David and Michael, three professionals from differing disciplines and backgrounds, have worked together for a number of years to develop this unique and exciting process. Their experience is detailed below as is that of Matt, a key member of the management team with considerable mining experience.

Tim formed Minex Technologies Ltd and as founder shareholder has been focused on the development of the Minex Process.  From his career experience in Financial Services he has raised several tranches of private finance to facilitate the progression of the company.  He supervised the completion of the successful patent applications of the process and the test programme to the current level of commercial optimisation.  Tim also developed the business model, identifying the potential of the Minex Process and has assembled a key team to ensure its commercialisation.

David is a qualified accountant who, having spent a short time in the accountancy profession, subsequently operated for over 40 years in the International Coal Trade, both as CEO of coal trading companies and also as an independent trader.  David was recruited to head the start-up of an international trading unit for Société Générale. This experience gained him first-hand knowledge in materials handling and he became involved personally in mining and coal preparation through acquiring and operating a small coal mine in South Wales.

David also has a wide working knowledge of the transportation of bulk materials. Changing markets led him to the Global Economic Consultants, IHS, where for ten years he headed the International Coal and Power Group.
